Yesterday I managed to cook my kids fettuccine alfredo for lunch and cooked the family grilled chicken breast and mashed potatoes for dinner. I didn't lick the serving spoon at either meal. I stuck to my plan.
That's a success in my book.
The plan for me was to eat 5 meals yesterday. Each consisting of 5 oz of protein and about 1/2 cup of vegetables. Healthy fat added to 4 of those meals. It was A LOT of food. I was still full after 3 hours. I actually was only able to eat 4 of the 5, and the third one was forced. As if I was eating for a food competition.
I talked to my trainer (yes, I got a trainer) and she told me I can stick to 4 meals for now, but I really need to try and bump it up to the 5. So I will. Oh and I drank well over a gallon of water! :)
I also managed to get my workouts in yesterday and it felt great to go hit the pavement last night.
It's good to be back.
